Download and install the Sun ODF Plugin for Microsoft Office. Follow the onsreen prompts and accept the license agreements, and choose a folder to install the plugin. You may also be asked to register the plugin.

Open Microsoft PowerPoint by clicking "Start," then selecting "Microsoft Office" and "Microsoft Office PowerPoint.
